Join us for our first online Teaching & Learning Symposium of the year!
Symposiums are wholly inclusive with the aim being to offer something for all Exeter Consortium member schools.
A choice of workshops will be presented by colleagues and relevant outside organisations for primary colleagues, supporting a range of learning conversations and dialogues. Each online Symposium will feature four workshops, each running for a strict 25-minute period. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with two of these sessions.
February 2021 Workshops: - Using Teach Like a Champion Strategies for Better Progress | Led by KS2 Maths Specialist Teacher, Faye Robertson - Play Therapy - Making A Difference | Led by Qualified Play Therapist, Liz Butler from Little Acorn Play and Creative Arts Therapy - Coaching Hacks - Small Shifts to Make a Big Difference | Led by Level 7 Qualified Leadership Coach, Kelly Newland from Look After Your Head - An Introduction to Whole School SEND and Useful Resources | Led by Head of Inclusion at Exeter Children’s Federation and Deputy Regional SEND Lead for the South West, Alison Betts
Staff are encouraged to deliver workshops around their subject strategies, whole school approaches, notable successes and engaging activities to take away. Details regarding the planned workshops will be sent to all member schools at least two weeks ahead of the Symposium in order for staff to consider which presentations they would like to attend.
If you wish to present your own workshop at future events, please email your idea/title and description to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cost: FREE to all Exeter Consortium member schools. This event will take place online, via Zoom. A link to access the event will be sent after booking.
