Event description

Join us for our summer term online Teaching & Learning Symposium!

Symposiums are wholly inclusive with the aim being to offer something for all Exeter Consortium member schools.

A choice of workshops will be presented by colleagues and relevant outside organisations for primary colleagues, supporting a range of learning conversations and dialogues. Each online Symposium will feature four workshops, each running for a strict 25-minute period. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with two of these sessions.

May 2021 Workshops:
- Implementing the new EYFS framework | Led by Tessa Fenlon from Alphington Primary School
- Creative ideas for Teaching RE, in both KS1 and KS2 | Led by Kate Vernon from Woodbury C of E Primary School
- Congruence | Led by Iain Franklin from Haytor View Primary School
- An Introduction to Forest School | Led by Robyn Vincent, The Outdoors Group

Staff are encouraged to deliver workshops around their subject strategies, whole school approaches, notable successes and engaging activities to take away. Details regarding the planned workshops will be sent to all member schools at least two weeks ahead of the Symposium in order for staff to consider which presentations they would like to attend.

If you wish to present your own workshop at future events, please email your idea/title and description to
