The network seeks to provide support for School Business Managers to manage their operations/resources efficiently and effectively.

Our aim is to ensure colleagues benefit from industry sector knowledge, updates and ideas to enable them to be compliant and gain the most from available resources.

June meeting to include:
- Delt Services Ltd – 'The hidden cost of IT on teaching and learning'
- PHP Law – “Getting the most out of your Professional Advisers”
- School Buying Club – “Beyond the Buying Hub pilot – expanding SBC’s support to schools and trusts in the South West.”
- Abor Education - “How Arbor MIS is enabling schools to transform the way they work”

About the Facilitator
From graduating with a Business Management Degree, Josie Medforth has over 20 years business operation experience, predominantly in the education sector.

She worked for 4 years as a Director of Operations for a successful Trust in Exeter, is currently providing part time interim Chief Operating Officer support for an organisation and enjoys being a Trustee for a Trust in Torbay. These roles have built her experience at an Executive Level.

All meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams. Upon booking, you will be added to the ‘School Operations & Resource Management Network’ Team. Within this team, you can send messages to other colleagues, ask questions, join meetings and share files.

Eligibility
Open to School Business Managers/Administrators from Primary and Secondary Schools.

Cost
Free for Teaching Schools South West member schools and non-member schools.
