What constitutes a successful Nurture group? An opportunity to share best practice, interventions and resources across local Nurture groups. A focus on managing successful transitions, as pupils prepare to move year groups / secondary school.
These meetings are a chance for subject leaders to keep abreast of current thinking in their subject and discuss initiatives with like-minded teachers. It aims to develop leadership skills, increase confidence in the teaching and learning of science with an emphasis on working scientifically and assessment. Future meetings are based on group needs.

The focus will be on government EYFS strategy and its relationship to KS1, news of policy developments, latest Early Years research findings and any key messages from Ofsted.

Session 2 (1:00 -3:30) Early Years Development
This session will be focused on key development issues that underpin quality practice as prioritised by the TTSA
To create a support network in which schools share ideas and effective practice and discuss issues surrounding the Business Studies GCSEs, BTECs and A Levels. We aim to focus on practical solutions to common challenges and gain expert advice and guidance from examiners, authors and other lead professionals.
Zoom will be used as the delivery platform for this meeting and delegates will be sent the meeting link closer to the event

John Simon is an experienced Business Teacher and is HOD at Exmouth Community College, teaching EDEXCEL GCSE and A Level Business. John has extensive experience in middle and senior leadership positions having worked in six schools in London, Somerset, Kent and Devon. This summer John will be marking paper 2 of the EDEXCEL GCSE Papers and is keen to share his experience of marking the new papers with colleagues.
