The session will focus on summer 2021 updates relating to quality assurance, safeguarding and any other mandatory and advisory guidance as it emerges. More detail will be sent out closer to the time.
There will also be a session on a leadership or pedagogical theme - this might be suggested at the spring 2021 update session.
Data analysis: Comparing the links between intervention planning and SMSC Development.

Teachers will develop their English subject knowledge in line with whole-school priorities. An outline of the session will be provided when the focus is agreed at English Subject Leader meeting.
This twilight session will use the NCETM’s ‘Five Big Ideas to Develop Mastery’ to develop teachers’ understanding of the progression from understanding fractions to calculating with fractions. Teachers will explore effective use of key models and images as well as key questions and structures to support pupils to develop arithmetic proficiency.
Aims & Content This event will consider career progression post-Induction and will provide NQTs with information on routes into leadership roles and opportunities that will enable the development of leadership and management skills. Career Progression through: • CPD opportunities (including coaching and mentoring) • Routes into Subject Leadership and Middle Leadership roles • Other leadership opportunities within school • Action research and accreditation • Routes into Senior Leadership NQTs will have: • a deeper understanding of leadership and management roles in education • developed their understanding of CPD opportunities within their own setting, the Local Authority and the Teaching School Alliance • developed their understanding of leadership opportunities that will enable them to develop their leadership and management skills in preparing for a leadership role in the future • will know about accreditation for action research and routes of further study
We will explore best practice in Early Years considering Early Years principles. We will visit core ideas around provision, interactions, planning and assessment.
This is a discussion based session giving practitioners time to discuss their own needs and seek advice from across the sector.
This workshop will look at techniques for creating indoor and outdoor sculpture using recycled materials and more specialist materials such as withies, (willow), plaster, clay and more. There will be an opportunity to look at building techniques to create exciting displays and art responses across the curriculum. Participants will also look at finishing sculptures using different media and techniques. As well as demonstrations, the session will include a hands-on project for participants to undertake and information leaflets to take away.
